Mr. Saad Akhtar Bharwana, Commandant, National Police Academy, Islamabad, called on the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan at the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

The Commandant briefed the Hon’ble Chief Justice on the Academy’s police training programmes and highlighted the importance of collaboration with the Federal Judicial Academy to enhance officers’ understanding of criminal law, investigation, evidence collection, case preparation and courtroom requirements. Such collaboration will promote professional investigations, stronger evidence and more effective prosecution, contributing to the fair and efficient administration of criminal justice.  
The Hon’ble Chief Justice appreciated the National Police Academy's role in developing professionally competent, law-conscious and rights-sensitive police officers, whose performance at the stages of investigation and evidence collection has a direct bearing on the quality of criminal justice.
